When and How to drink Water ?


Drinking water is probably the easiest thing you do everyday. But do you know how much water to drink in a day? And, is there a right time or a right way to drink water? Well, let’s find out.
Our body is made of five elements – Earth, Water, Fire, Space, and Air. Water is one of the most important elements as 50% – 70% of our body is made up of water. Our body organs have numerous functions to perform. And regular intake of water is what keeps the functions going in a smooth and healthy manner. So, to answer how much water to drink in a day.

As per Dr Anuj (www.dranuj.in) Water Mantra is – Three things you need to do –

1. As soon as you get up drink 1 liter of Water 

This helps nourish body cells, flushes out toxins and improves metabolism. In Japan, it is common practice to drink two full glasses of water upon waking. It’s said have the ability to fully cure a number of diseases as well as provide a host of other benefits.

2. After 40 minutes every meal of day drink Hot Water

Drinking warm or hot water flushes the toxins, including fat deposits, circulating in your body, which improves blood circulation. Muscles relax as well, also aiding in better blood flow.Hot_water

3. Drink water only when sitting

Please avoid drinking water while standing as it never really quenches your thirst properly, can have an adverse effect on your kidneys and may lead to arthritis too. So the best way is to sit comfortably and drink water. This helps filter the nutrients of water nourishing the entire body organ system, rather than directly going into your stomach with a force, which can be painful too.

In conclusion – I’ve been doing this for many years now. Proof that it really works. It really does improve one’s health and well-being. I would suggest at least try for 2-3 weeks and then decide.
